Embroidery work on a piece of non-slip carpet under layer

  • Piece of non-slip carpet under layer

  • Old embroidery hoop

  • Grey wool

Also needed

  • Embroidery needle

  • Fabric scissors

  • Printed pattern from the internet

  • Black marker

Method

  1. Place the pattern underneath the piece of under-layer. Use the black marker and trace the pattern on the under-layer.

  2. Place the under-layer between the embroidery hoops and fasten it. Use the fabric scissor and cut away any excess under-layer around the hoops.

  3. Use the wool and needle to sew stem stiches all around the trace edges.

  4. Use an extra piece of wool and fasten it between the metal screws to act as a hanging device.
