Method

First, measure five pieces of wood and a trunk for the tree. Each one 6cm smaller than the other. I used the following measurements – 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 cm – which allowed me to stack them on top of each other.

Work on a solid and stable surface and cut the pieces with the mitre or hand saw according to the measurements. Use a hand saw to smooth the edges. Wipe them clean with a damp cloth.

Glue them on top of each other with the wood glue to form a wooden Christmas tree.

Nail the trunk to the newly made tree and to paint it white. Allow to dry.
