This simple yet effective makeover fitted in with my colour scheme.
Recycled items
- Old wooden key house
- Bird decorations from a greeting card
Also needed
- White paint and paintbrush
- Wood glue
Method
- This old key house was passed on to me by a friend. I decided to cover the blue surface in white. To get rid of the blue, I needed to paint it four times – perseverance paid off. Allow one paint layer to dry before you apply a new one.
- I removed the decorations gently from a birthday card and applied them to the key house with wood glue.
