1. Clean the glass object with a damp cloth, use a general-purpose cleaner for hard surfaces and to remove any marks and stains.
2. Allowed the object to dry completely in the sun.
3. Place the object on a spot sheet in a well-ventilated area and wear a dust mask.
4. Spray the object with a thin coat of spray paint. I used Rust-oleum, ultra-cover, paint and primer (also bonds to glass objects). Hold the can about 30 cm from the surface of the object and keep the can moving while you spray. Do not worry about full coverage during this first coat of paint.
5. Allow the first coat to dry for about 50 minutes, once dry you can spray the second coat. Once the second coat is dry, do a final inspection to see if you have missed a few spots. Touch up.
6. Let your object dry completely before you display it.
