• vintage labels (see below)

• sponge brushes

• modge podge

• water-based varnish

Method

1. Vintage labels are freely available online in all shapes and sizes. Print the size you require as determined by the tin(s) you want to decorate.

2. Using a sponge brush, paint the outside of the tin with a coat of modge podge. Position and stick the labels onto the wet modge podge, making sure the edges are properly secured. Paint a second coat of modge podge all over the tin, including the label. Leave to dry completely before sealing your ‘antique tin’ with varnish.
