Recycled items:
- Empty 5l containers
- Pages of old books
Also needed:
- Wallpaper glue
- Scissors/craft knife
- Black marker
- Water-based varnish
Method:
- Remove all labels from the 5l container and rinse it with hot soapy water. Allow it to dry.
- Decide how deep you want the book carrier to be and then draw marks on the container with the black pen. Use the pair of scissors to cut it open.
- When you are happy with your shape, start to glue the paper to the plastic container, like papier-mâché. Leave to dry.
- Seal it with a water-based varnish.
